The Focus On Youth After School Program will be starting next week! The program spans eight weeks, running from April 19th to June 4th, 2021. It will take place weekly from Tuesday to Friday, with a Streamyard on Mondays from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. Children eligible for the after school program must be between the ages of 6 to 13.
The After School sessions will begin at 4:00 p.m. and end at 5:45 p.m. Sessions offered will include Arts, Leadership, Sports, and STEAM. The program will also include tutoring sessions to support students in their schoolwork and any areas they wish to improve on, which must be booked in advance.
The daily program will be broken into two sessions. The first session will begin at 4:00 p.m. and end at 4:45 p.m. After, there will be a fifteen-minute break before the second session begins. The second session will begin at 5:00 p.m. and end at 5:45 p.m.
The timeframe for the tutoring sessions will vary based on availability. In order to obtain a session for your child, you must book an appointment for a specific time slot and include the necessary information regarding their desired area of focus. These meetings are available weekly from Monday to Friday. Children eligible for tutoring must already be enrolled in the Focus on Youth program.

Hi, the student I am enrolling is an ESL student (my brother) he’s only been in Canada for about 2 years, he is not that proficient in English would that be a problem? With Covid it’s been difficult for him to fully acclimate to regular interactions with his peers. I want to keep him involved in activities and his peer group but he may not be as vocal as the other children.
