Focus on Youth is a program that offers high school students hands-on job experience in real world settings. Whether you’re leading campers in fun activities or making a difference behind the scenes, every role helps our schools and communities shine. Take our custodial team, for instance. They’re the heroes behind the scenes who keep everything spotless and shining. Thanks to them, classrooms, gyms, and hallways are always ready for action. It’s hard work, but it matters.
FOY STAFF
At St. Benedicts, the custodial team plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone in the school. Inaki and Gabriel work hard, doing what often happens behind the scenes, but the impact of what they do is seen and felt throughout the entire building every single day. They take their time to ensure that every crevice, corner, and classroom is thoroughly cleaned and cared for. Their daily tasks include wiping down desks, sweeping and mopping the floors, emptying garbage bins, and making sure that each space is ready for the following school year!
