TCE Woodbine at St. Brigid is one of the many summer camps run by TCE (The Child Experience). TCE works to give children fun and memorable summers through exciting camp experiences. Over the course of six weeks, campers are guided by high school student staff who help make each day enjoyable. Campers participate in a variety of activities, including sports, arts and crafts, and drama, giving them opportunities to learn new skills, have fun, and make friends. Providing a safe environment is a priority at TCE so every child can enjoy their time at camp.
Every day at TCE Woodbine is filled with different activities that keep campers active. The kids spend most of their time playing sports, doing arts and crafts, and taking part in drama activities. The camp staff work hard to make all the kids feel included and create a fun environment where campers can build friendships. Campers and counsellors also enjoy playing together, making great childhood memories. TCE offers many different activities so children can try new things and discover what they enjoy. The goal of camp is not only to have fun but also to help campers build confidence, learn new skills, and grow as individuals.
Our recent visit was especially exciting because TCE Woodbine invited us on a trip to Woodbine Beach. The campers spent the day playing at the playground, enjoying games with their counsellors, and spending time with each other outdoors. They also ate lunch together and took part in group activities. The trip gave everyone a chance to enjoy the fresh air, stay active, and create fun memories outside of the regular camp routine.
