TCE Caledonia at St. Nicholas of Bari is one of the many summer camps that TCE (The Child Experience) runs across Toronto as a non-profit organization. TCE is dedicated to providing kids with unforgettable summer experiences that are both memorable and enjoyable. Throughout the six weeks, campers are engaged, mentored and supported by high school students who help create an exciting and positive camp experience. Each day is filled with fun activities such as sports, arts and crafts and drama, where kids can learn, grow and build new friendships. Creating a safe and welcoming environment for every child is at the heart of everything TCE does, ensuring each camper has a summer to remember.

At TCE Caledonia, campers take part in a variety of exciting daily activities that encourage creativity, teamwork and connection. From sports and art-based activities to group games, each experience is designed to create an inclusive and welcoming camp environment where every camper can participate and have fun. During our visit, the theme of the day was X-Men, and one of the activities we observed was an origami craft where campers created their own Wolverine claws using paper. This activity allowed campers to express their creativity and imagination while bringing the superhero theme to life. Through the variety of activities offered each day, TCE Caledonia helps campers explore new interests, gain confidence and form meaningful friendships while creating memories that last beyond the summer.

The FOY staff at TCE Caledonia is dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where every camper can enjoy a memorable summer experience. Throughout each day, staff members actively connect with campers during activities and free time, encourage participation and create meaningful relationships that help foster a sense of belonging. The TCE Caledonia FOY team plays an essential role in building a positive camp environment where campers can have fun, develop friendships and make lasting memories.
