Footsteps to Success, one of the three camps established by Andre Fullerton, was created to encourage youth engagement and support the development of the metropolitan areas. This camp offers young people the opportunity to develop skills in leadership, teamwork, creativity, communication, and many more! For Footsteps to Success, their mission is to invest in youth, helping them shift their perspectives and explore new opportunities, while also benefiting their communities. And, this year, one of these camps is being held at Father Henry Carr (FHC)!
There’s never a dull moment, here at FHC Footsteps to Success! Each day is filled with laughter, learning, and lively activities that keep the campers engaged and excited. The children alternate between a variety of activities that are either Sports, Arts, STEM, or Leadership focused, ensuring a well-rounded experience. Whether they’re playing games, participating in creative projects, or going on thrilling trips, the campers are always exploring new skills while also having fun and making memories that will last a lifetime. The vibrant energy and enthusiasm at FHC Footsteps to Success ensures that each and every day is an unforgettable experience for everyone involved!
These campers always enjoy the games their counsellors organize, with their excitement growing even more for the Wednesday trips! Whether it’s a visit to the movies, a day of bowling, or even going to an indoor playground, the kids at FHC Footsteps to Success can barely contain their enthusiasm! Each trip adds an extra layer of adventure to their week, giving them something special to look forward to each week and creating even more cherished memories!
And, of course, we have our wonderful FOY counsellors and supervisors here at FHC Footsteps to thank for such an amazing summer, with many more years to come!
