Footsteps to Success is one of the camps founded by Andre Fullerton and community partners. This year Footsteps to Success has three locations, including Saint Martin de Porres. This camp was created to get youth more involved and to help urban communities move forward.

The goal of Footsteps is to help the youth develop a sense of identity, and explore different opportunities. Focus on Youth students contribute by bringing fresh ideas, positive energy, and enthusiasm, making them excellent role models for the younger campers.
The Footsteps to Success camp is for youth ages 5-13. This year, the program ran for six weeks from July 2nd – August 9th and hosted many exciting activities. A typical day in a Footsteps camp starts of with morning introductions. Next campers head-off to their different rotations in Arts, Leadership, Sports, and STEAM. Campers also go on field trips every week.

This year the campers and staff went on many amazing field trips including a trip to Pingles Farm. Here they engaged in many different activities such as a tractor ride around the farm. They were also able to see some farm animals including goats and chickens.

Campers also had the opportunity visit NEBS’S Fun World with the campers from Footsteps Frassati. Here they did some bowling and were also able to go on many rides and play many games.
