St. Alban’s Boys Club was founded in 1949 by Toronto Police Inspector, W. H. (Bill) Bolton. It began with just 25 boys in the St. Alban’s Parish Hall Basement. The vision was to provide a safe environment for youth through recreation. It wasn’t until 1978 that the club was renamed to St. Alban’s Boys and Girls Club.

This boys and girls club is widely known as “a good place to be”. By doing activities like arts and crafts, as well as physical activities that include soccer and baseball, children and youth learn and develop team building, social and sportsmanship skills. In addition, once a week they go on exciting trips to places like Wild Water Kingdom, Fantasy Fair, beaches and the movie theatre.

This club fosters positive attitudes all around and a strong sense of belonging. Many of the children and youth have made special friendships that show in their cheering and support for one another. The smiles and laughs at St. Alban’s Boys and Girls Club speak for the way that campers and staff alike have an amazing time and look forward to spending their day with each other.
