Moulding the Future of Jane and Finch
The Seeds of Hope summer day camp was established in 2005 by Benjamin Osei and has provided a fun and safe space for campers to be engaged and learn ever since. The goal of the camp is to create a supportive and enriching environment that gives campers a place to belong and feel completely welcome to be themselves. All summer, kids and youth have the opportunity to learn from each other, their supervisors and themselves in order to blossom into their full potential.

Everyday there are fun activities for the kids including sports, arts as well as academic learning and bible stories. They organize exciting and educational field trips for the campers such as: African Lion Safari, Wet and Wild, picnics and swimming! As the founder Ben Osei says, “By the time they go back to school they’ll have lots of stories to share.”

At Seeds of Hope campers are encouraged to be leaders and responsible individuals. In fact, many campers become camp counsellors and volunteers when they turn sixteen! This camp experience is the gift that does not stop giving as it opens the doors for opportunities and friendships that continue into the campers’ adolescence.
