PROFILE: Dovercourt Boys & Girls Club (St. Luigi)


Dovercourt Boys and Girls Club offers summer camp for children and youth ages 4 – 17. Whatever hobby, sport, or passion your child is chasing, they have a place at Dovercourt Boys and Girls Club. Dovercourt’s vision is that all children and youth should discover and achieve their dreams and are healthy, successful and active participants in society.

Dovercourt has 5 core values, RespectBelonging, Encouragement and SupportWorking Together, and Speaking Out. These core values are what makes Dovercourt special and allows the kids to have wonderful and bright futures.

Respect means to offer children from all backgrounds access to resources, supports, and opportunities to benefit their future. Belonging means providing them a safe and supportive place where they are valued and respected. Encouragement and Support mean helping them develop lifestyles that will help them be lifelong learners and equip them with leadership skills. Working Together means working with the community and parents to provide the children with an amazing and fun program. Speaking Out means Dovercourt Boys and Girls speaks on behalf of the community that they will reduce disadvantages and enhance their lives and enable their voices and ideas to be heard.
