Who can join tutoring?
Tutoring is available to all students in the Focus on Youth After School Program. The age groups will be divided between Grades 1 to 4 and Grades 5 to 8.
When will tutoring run?
Tutoring will run weekly from Tuesday to Friday, 3:30-6:30PM.
How long will the sessions be?
Each session will be 25 minutes long. Please ensure your child arrives 5 minutes before the scheduled time. The schedule is as follows:

How many sessions can I book in a week? You can book two sessions a week for your child in either one or two subjects.
How do I book a tutoring session?
Sessions can no longer be booked for the after-school program since it has ended.
What subjects will be offered?
The subjects currently available are English (reading/writing), Math, French, and Science. Parents and guardians can email foytutoring2021@gmail.com if there is another subject they would like to see offered.
Who will my child be paired with?
Your child will be paired with a high school student from the Toronto Catholic District School Board who is trained in tutoring.
What if my child has a favourite tutor?
As sessions go on, we are hoping to have students matched with tutors they enjoy working with on a regular basis.
