Established in 1983, Malvern Family Resource Centre is a multi-service social service agency offering a variety of programs and services to residents in the North Scarborough and Scarborough Rouge Park ridings. Their tween summer camp located at Neilson Rd is one of such programs and give kids a fun place to play around and communicate with each other throughout the summer!

This was more of a relaxed day at the Neilson Camp. In the morning, They did attendance and planned out all the fun activities they would do throughout day. They decided for their first activity to they would make paper fortune tellers to play with!

After making the paper fortune tellers, they started setting up a movie! The counselors and a few other campers that volunteered started making popcorn and handing out snacks cakes to everyone while they watch the movie. After everything was handed out, they had a fun time watching Avatar (2009).

After the movie finished, they had some free time on their to do any fun things they wanted! Whether it be drawing, playing ball outside, or even doing a little bit of dancing!

After everything was said and done at the end day, they decided to take a walk to the local park in the area to play around for a while.

That concludes all the things that were happening at the camp on a very relaxed day! The camp counselors and supervisor try their hardest to make sure all the kids are having fun and are able to safely explore fun creative activities.
