The Child Experience (TCE) is a non-profit organization, renowned for dedicating their time and efforts to keeping kids engaged and cheerful during the summer through their camps across Toronto. These camps, running from 9am – 3pm, offer a great range of programs and activities that allow kids to interact with peers and benefit from the guidance of high-school and post-secondary mentors. At TCE camps, these activities are mainly centred around sports, drama, and arts and crafts, providing a fun and enriching environment for campers to participate in countless activities, all the while, build lasting friendships.

At TCE Mount Dennis, these campers have lots of fun interacting with each other and participating in different activities throughout the day. By rotating into different groups, every camper is given the chance to engage in different activities that can cater to everyone’s interest. From unique games like “Land, Sea, & Air” and soccer, to creative crafts, such as making your own homemade maracas, these kids are given the opportunity to explore new interests and skills, and most importantly, have fun!

After finishing their rotations, the campers at TCE Mount Dennis all come together for an end-of-day camp activity. Despite the thunderstorm, the resourceful camp counsellors decided to make the most of it! They gathered all the kids around in a circle to share silly, scary stories that kept the campers engaged and on their toes, with one counsellor even pretending to be a ghost to add to the fun.

Thanks to these creative counsellors, the campers at TCE Mount Dennis always enjoy exciting and memorable experiences everyday, no matter the weather!
