The Focus on Youth program gives students valuable opportunities to acquire important and meaningful experience with a variety of roles. This year at St. Mother Teresa Catholic Academy, students are excelling as tutors, a role that’s significantly contributing to their development of life and workplace skills. These tutors do more than just explaining, they provide personalized support across various subjects, helping younger children learn and study different material and experience the pride of academic success.

At St. Mother Teresa, the Focus on Youth tutors are here to help kids from Grades 1 to 8. Which offers one-hour tutoring sessions in each variety of school subjects. This includes tutoring sessions for Math and Science, as well with creative subjects such as Arts and much more! Tutors also provide support for students with their English and French language skills! Each session is focused on one subject, so that the kids can be educated and prepared for a brand new school year of the things they have learned!

Every tutor within the Focus on Youth program plays a crucial role, significantly influencing the learning goals of younger students and providing themselves an indispensable part of the FOY team.
