PROFILE: FHC Tutoring

The Focus on Youth program offers summer tutoring for students in Grades 1 to 8, helping them strengthen their skills in Math, Science, French, and English through both online and in-person sessions. With two in-person locations at Father Henry Carr and St. Mother Teresa, campers were able to drop in and sharpen their skills before the school year starts!

This year, our passionate tutors went above and beyond to make learning engaging and meaningful. In one hour sessions, they spent the summer guiding students through tough topics, breaking them down in ways that made sense, and building their confidence along the way. By the end of the program, students didn’t just improve in their subjects — they walked away feeling more motivated and excited to learn.

Special thanks to our tutors for their patience, knowledge, and passion for their hard work this summer. When they put their heads together, there is nothing that can stop the knowledge from flowing!
