Placement Criteria for FOY Summer 2026
- Students must works 6 weeks from June 29 to August 7
- Locations must be within Toronto
- Students require 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Students must have a one hour break daily. Can be broken down the way you see fit (ex one 30 mins lunch and two 15 mins breaks)
- Students must attend one day of training for your organization on one of the following dates: June 22 or June 23 or June 24 or June 25 or June 26
- Students are hired and paid by the TCDSB
- Organization site supervisors will be required to submit weekly timesheets
- Organization site supervisors will be required to provide dates and locations of any excursions during the 6 week program
- Organization site supervisors will be required to attend an orientation on Zoom in June
All hired FOY staff will have some training provided by our program, including CPR & First Aid Certifications.
