St. Maria Goretti Boys and Girls Club has a goal to provide “a good place to be” as they facilitate fun games for the kids while keeping a safe environment. They have activities that range from arts and crafts, cooking, drama, and sports.

In the morning, all age groups are gathered for the morning circle where they play games such as squirt, ninja, zap and many more. One thing that is unique about this camp is that it keeps all age groups together while playing different activities. They see this as an opportunity for the little kids to never fear the big kids and become friends with them. Furthermore, the big kids become more responsible and are trained as good role models for the little kids.
In the afternoon, the kids tap into their creativity and create unique crafts. They also participate in sports and other game activities that involve running. On certain days of the week, the whole camp goes on a swimming trip as well as other excursions like the Pan-Am games, bowling, sailing and much more.

Kids look forward to the next day at camp because of the variety of activities available to them and all the friends they have made in camp. Creating an enjoyable environment and summer for the kids is the priority of the St. Maria Goretti Boys and Girls Club. The team of counselors work together to facilitate and organize different events which result into this wonderful camp.

It is so much fun working with the kids here at St.Maria Goretti’s Boys and Girls Club. It was also a great experience that I will take with me in my life. And a rememberable experience as well.
Working with the kids at St. Maria Goretti’s Boys and Girls Club has been a memorable experience. It has taught me many things about who I am and how I should pass it on to the kids.
