cropped-ntkbgc-logo-smallerThe Toronto Kiwanis Boys & Girls Clubs is a non-profit organization based in the city of Toronto. The Club’s Founding Partner, The Kiwanis Club of Toronto, established the Toronto Kiwanis Boys & Girls Clubs (TKBGC) in 1921. TKBGC’s historic facility, a church originally built in 1921 at 101 Spruce St., was purchased by the Kiwanis Club of Toronto in 1939. TKBGC incorporated as a not-for profit organization, separate from the Kiwanis Club of Toronto in 1992. Since then, they have helped over 50,000 inner-city children and youth reach their full-potential.

The TKBGC summer camp is ran at the intersection of Bathurst and Richmond (20 Portugal Sq.) and serves as an escape from summer boredom for children ages 6-10. This camp gives children the opportunity to socialize, participate in physical activity,  engage in literary studies, as well as access to nutritional diets. With staff educated in fun, enjoyment is both ensured and encouraged.

  1. It is wonderful to read of such great things happening in a place that has so much history!

  2. As one of the Focus On Youth staff, working with the Toronto Kiwanis Boys and Girls Club was defintely an experience I will never forget; going on the field trips, participating in the games/activities and forming new bonds with the kids were some of the best highlights of working there. I had a fun and enjoyable summer.

  3. What a great video. I would like to thank this year’s Focus on Youth students for doing such an amazing job at Camp. Camp would not have been the same without them!

  4. Every year FOY sends the most wonderful students to work with us. This year was no exception! The girls were fabulous. They were professional, courteous and full of life. The children and staff loved them with. We are missing them very much today as their time with us is over for the year. Thank you for sending us such wonderful students. We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors
