Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) is the largest social housing provider in Canada and the second largest in North America. They are owned by City of Toronto and operate in a non-profit manner. TCHC represents a $9 billion public asset.
The Toronto Community Housing (Sparrow) camp loves to go on trips, especially on Fridays. However, their trip to Riverdale Farm took place on a Thursday. This shows the camp’s love for trips and adventure!
The camp councillors decided to split up the kids into groups, so it was easier for them to track where the kids were.
The campers had a really fun day exploring the beautiful farm while checking out a bunch of animals like rabbits, sheep, horses, and a bunch more wonderful animals. After exploring the farm, the kids had a nice lunch outdoors at the park.
