TCE Summer Camp at Don Mills is a part of the many summer camps that TCE (The Child Experience) runs across Toronto as a non-profit organization. TCE is dedicated to providing kids with unforgettable summer experiences that are both memorable and enjoyable. Throughout six weeks, kids at the camps are engaged, mentored, and accompanied by high school students and post-secondary educational institutions, ensuring a great summer experience. Each day is filled with exciting activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and drama, where kids can learn, grow, and create new connections. Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all children is essential for the enjoyment TCE provides in all their camps!

A typical day at camp revolves around laughter and smiles. Campers are encouraged to participate in all the activities, from drama exercises to expanding their creativity in arts and crafts, as well as engaging in friendly sports competitions.

During our recent visit, the highlight of the day was an exciting pizza-making adventure. The camp counselors made sure that campers would enjoy their time as chefs by setting up music and dressing up. The process of creating pizzas not only united all the campers but also served as a valuable learning experience, as they discovered the secrets of pizza-making. All campers were excited and engaged, especially when receiving their pizza once cooked. Other activities at the camp include free time, both indoors and outdoors, outdoor games, sports, arts and crafts, water gun fights, and much more, providing an unforgettable summer experience for each kid!

At St. Timothy, the only FOY staff is dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all campers. Engaging with campers during free time and listening to their concerns while ensuring they have fun every day is essential for the FOY staff.
