PROFILE: Toronto Community Housing – St. James Town

Toronto Community Housing is the largest social housing provider in Canada and the second largest in North America. They are wholly owned by the City of Toronto and operate in a non-profit manner. TCH represents a $9 billion public asset.

To start of the day the campers played a game of hangman while the camp counsellors prepare arts and crafts activities for the kids.

The first arts and crafts activity the counsellors prepared is paper mache. The kids wrapped the balloons with paper and glue. After the kids put the wrapped ballon aside as they dry for the rst of the day.

After paper mache, the counsellors prepared crayons, markers, and paints and the kids were given a sign and it is their job to be creative and decorate their it as much as they want.

When the rain finally stopped pouring the counsellors decided to bring the kids outside to enjoy playing different sports like basketball and baseball to end of the day.
