Focus On Youth is a summer program that allows high school students from all over the GTA to build their leadership skills, foster growth and build community.
On a typical day at St. Mary Catholic Academy, their summer school transition program is taking place and Aleashanee plays a vital role in helping out. She helps organize and manage permission forms handed in by students, making sure everything is up to date. Aleashanee goes beyond her role as admin and she helps create a positive and welcoming atmosphere. If she’s all up to date, she’ll talk with the incoming Grade 9 students and joke around with them! She does her best to make sure that they feel supported as they start their high school journey.
