Throughout the Focus on Youth program, students gain meaningful, hands-on experience in diverse roles. This year at St. Nicholas Catholic Elementary, two students are serving as custodians, a role that’s proving instrumental in developing their life and workplace skills. Beyond their cleaning tasks, these custodians make a significant contribution by cultivating a clean and safe welcoming atmosphere that supports all student’s well-being and learning for the upcoming school year.

The Focus on Youth student custodians, Jireh and Lucius are making a significant difference at St. Nicholas. They meticulously clean and organize classrooms, hallways and other areas, building a supportive atmosphere where all students can feel comfortable and have a positive, enjoyable summer and regular school experience.
