BGC West Scarborough run by West Scarborough Neighbourhood Community Centre at The Divine Infant Catholic School. The purpose of this summer camp is to provide a space where children can overcome barriers, experience new opportunities, and develop skills that will support a future of prosperity. With skill-based activities and games, children build proficiencies in collaboration, communication, and problem-solving as well as enjoy summertime fun!
A day with BGC West Scarborough at Divine Infant Catholic School starts with attendance and icebreakers. Campers then hop into the day with art and sports-focused games and activities that build creativity and connection. Activities and games are played such as dodgeball, capture the flag, and freeze tag. Campers also enjoy playing at the park located in the open yard, testing their sport skills with volleyball and soccer, even testing their agility on the monkey bars, or even commanding a ship!

Free healthy snacks are provided to all campers. On the documented day, campers enjoyed Goldfish and yogurt to stay energized and to their boost nutrition. After the first snack time, campers spend time in The Divine Infant’s atrium, indulging in fun games to cool down with charades, pass the ball, broken telephone, and more before campers participate in more fun, engaging activities. The day ends off with the final and second snack break in their designated classrooms, wrapping up a day of fun at the BGC West Scarborough at the wonderful Divine Infant.
