PROFILE: CEC Administration

Located at the Catholic Education Centre, 8 of Focus on Youth‘s hardworking admin students are here do the daily tasks and activities they are assigned. In the Admin Team, positions include IT Support Assistant, Environmental Support Services, Human Resources, Development Database Student, and more! Everyday, they ensure that TCDSB student records, budgets, and board policies are maintained and secure.

Not only do our admins work for the logistics of Focus on Youth, they also contribute to the greater TCDSB community. Daily activities include managing construction data and how it will affect schools, updating records and spreadsheets, and preparing licensing agreements for new school and childcare programs. Admins are entrusted with confidential information, proving that reliability and data management are essential to the workplace!

On many days, workload for the admins can begin to pile up due to demand for assistance, with little room for error. Nevertheless, the Catholic Education Centre is the perfect space for this line of work, with minimal distractions and lots of flexible space.

Despite the busy nature of the administrative role, our FOY students continue to represent Focus on Youth as an organization. With their attention to detail and time management, our amazing admins display their dedication to their job, effortlessly adapting to new challenges in the workplace everyday.
