Central Neighborhood House(CNH) is one of the oldest settlement houses in Toronto. Their mission statement is to “engage the skills and talents of the people of our community to foster social justice, and to build a vibrant neighborhood where everyone lives with dignity and respect.” Their values are diversity, empowerment, leadership, and inclusiveness.
CNH was founded 102 years ago, and has camps in Region Park, St Jamestown, and Main Street. At the Our Lady of Lourds site, Central Neighborhood House has a camp designed to give kids experience in sports, art, games, cooking, dance, and drama.
In addition, kids have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of trips to Wild Water Kingdom, the Toronto Zoo, and the Royal Ontario Museum, among others. The camp is for kids ages 5-13, and runs from July 2nd to August 23rd.
