Acknowledge Positive Movements (A.P.M.) was founded in 2009 by Nicole Allong. It focuses on giving kids opportunities to receive professional training in sports and the arts. The team at A.P.M. is passionate about offering high quality of training to campers in effort to open doors and provide a skill set to equip them to follow their dreams all in a fun camp setting.

The summer program for A.P.M. is for children ages 6-15, from 9AM to 3PM. This year, it started on July 7th and will run until August 1st. At the St. Gabriel Lalemant Catholic School location, A.P.M. runs a basketball prep camp as well as a performance arts camp. The basketball campers go through intense summer training with coaches as well as players volunteering from high schools. The campers in performing arts are offered lessons in singing, acting, dance and modeling. They also work on academics including math and English.

A.P.M.’s motto is “Helping students achieve their dreams.” The campers are able to apply what they learn to real life and it inspires them to find a passion that can be carried out potentially into future careers.
