As their logo says, Mount Dennis Boys & Girls Club is a good place to be. They “provide a safe, and supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence skills for life.”

The Boys and Girls Club is a fun and interactive way to learn new skills and build friendships. The children and youth can develop team building, leadership skills, sports skills, creativity skills and many more! They also attend weekly events and field trips, exposing the campers to new experiences. For instance in this post, the club went to the Mount Dennis Library to watch the Pan Am Torch Relay.

The campers enjoy participating in different programs as they get to experience several activities and learn new games. Encouraged by their optimistic staff members, many campers are excited to be involved with all the programs the club has to offer. This club is a good place to be: teaching the campers about maturity, self-development, and ultimately to be a better leader.

The enthusiasm and the positive energy of the campers radiate throughout the community, creating a sense of belonging. The goal of the Mount St. Dennis Boys and Girls Club is achieved as they build friendships, strengthen relationships and create memories that will last a lifetime.
