Dovercourt Boys and Girls Club was founded in 1957 by a group of people who were concerned about kids and decided to start up a club to allow children to be involved in the community. Home to over 200 kids per week, the camp pushes their hardest to assure that they have an unforgettable summer.

The camp strives to focus on education throughout the summer to assure that the campers do not lose their literacy and numeracy skills. They want their campers to bring what they learned over the summer back to school.

However, they don’t just focus on academics for six week. As the olympics are right in the heart of our city, the theme for this year is Pan Am. Besides attending Pan Am events, the camp also visits different places like the Toronto Zoo, African Lion Safari, and of course swimming to cool off on a long day.
