The Education Academy is a French summer day camp offered for children between the ages of 5-14. The organization was founded in 2008 by a parent committee to focus on character development in students as they strive to meet their educational needs.
This camp operates at St. Aidan Catholic School, at 3521 Finch Avenue East, just east of Warden Ave. The camp takes place during July 6 – August 14, from 9AM – 4PM.
At this camp, children focus on the importance of being in a bilingual country and focus half of their day integrating the French language. Throughout the other half of the day, they learn leadership and cooperation through arts and crafts, sports, and outdoor activities.
As they collaborate with Focus on Youth, the FOY staff, TEA organization, and campers all benefit from one another. They all learn cooperation and high energy and enthusiasm through one another.
