Footsteps to Success is one of three camps founded by Andre Fullerton and community partners, created to become involved with youth, and to help urban communities to move forward. Footsteps gives youth the tools that they need in order to succeed in life. The program enriches children in a positive atmosphere. Staff and campers are always enthusiastic, energized and ready to learn. Counsellors and campers heavily impact each other as they both learn something new every day. Everyone works together to have the best summer experience possible.

  2. One more time thank you for providing our TCDSB student leaders and the children of the St. Timothy neighbourhood with such a wonderful experience

One other little thing, just because we are so proud of them….

The twins Alex and Ben Lacay are from St. Mary Catholic Academy, I think they were accidently listed as Marshall. I’ve been blessed to teach them both, we are very, very proud of them.

  3. It has just been an unforgettable experience at St. Tim’s. I am so thankful and so blessed that I was placed there for the second time in my last year as a FOY student. My coworkers were just great and always had each others’ backs. The best thing about St. Tim’s though, is the campers. I was not expecting how much impact the campers would have on me. I honestly cannot explain what it was – perhaps it was their never-ending energy throughout the entire day, perhaps it was their innocence which lets them worry about simple things, or perhaps their positivity that allows them to continue smiling and living life no matter what comes. In any case, they effectively changed me, and I will always remember that.

Thank you, Focus On Youth, for 3 years of unforgettable experiences.

  4. Being a summer camp counsellor for this program at St.Timothy’s made me open my eyes. I would like to thank Andre Fullerton for the chance to be a summer camp counsellor at St.Timothy’s. Having a impact on these young childrens lives really changed who I am because it was such a blessing to work with the kids, these kids were truly outstanding and I would like to applaud our staff for being able to supervise such a large amount of campers with only having 16 staff memebers and 3 coordinators. I hope more opportunities come from this program, it was a great six weeks of bonding with the campers and bonding with the staff, I hope to see them all again next summer.
