UrbanArts is an art based camp dedicated to enriching the lives of campers through a variety of art forms such as visual arts, music, theatre, dance and more! Campers at UrbanArts always have a fun and safe space to express themselves, create art and form friendships.

There is never a dull day at UrbanArts as each week has a brand new exciting theme, for example, textile arts, dance/movement, music and environmental arts. Guest artists of all artistic backgrounds are invited in to lead the children in enriching workshops which broaden the campers’ knowledge and understanding of a variety of different art forms.

The campers also have the opportunity to go on art orientated field trips, for example, the Art Gallery of Ontario, where they are exposed to art in their community. With the knowledge they gain, each camper has the chance to try out their new skills towards creating their own unique projects, allowing each individual to express their own ideas and opinions

The kids are constantly learning new things, not just about art, but also about themselves as strong, responsible individuals. The engaging art lessons that the campers are taught strengthen each aspect of their being; sharing their art and opinions to improve each child’s communication, expression and sense of identity. One thing is certain, the UrbanArts camp gives an overwhelming sense of joy and acceptance that it positively impacts the lives of all who are involved.
