PROFILE: Dovercourt Boys and Girls Club (St. Anthony)

Dovercourt Boys and Girls Club is an organization which runs a variety of different things such as after school programs, evening programs and camps for kids ages 4-17. It’s a place where kids of all ages can create friendship that will last for the rest of their lives! No matter the hobby or talent your kid is passionate about, Dovercourt Boys and Girls Club is sure to have something to fuel their passion!

This camp takes place in two locations which are St. Anthony Catholic School and BGC Dovercourt’s Clubhouse. These locations take care of two different age groups but always make both camps as equally immersive! At the St. Anthony location, you can see the toddlers and younger kids participate in story time and run around the gym playing games. At the BGC Dovercourt Clubhouse, they hold the tweens and teens to take part in the variety of activities given such as theatre, cooking, gaming, arts & crafts and sports!

Some activities happening at Dovercourt BGC!

Alongside the amazing staff at Dovercourt Boys and Girls Club, there are phenomenal Focus on Youth staff who always give it their all to help these kids enjoy their summer! They help the kids with activities and act as mentors to the younger kids to help them shoot for the stars. They make camp enjoyable by implementing Dovercourt’s 5 core values which are: respect, belonging, encouragement and support, working together and speaking out!
