PROFILE: TCE Woodbine – St. Brigid Catholic School

TCE Woodbine, also known as St. Brigid, is affiliated with The Child Experience (TCE) a non-profit organization that provides a dynamic educational summer program across Toronto. These camps have a diverse range of activities for children of all ages to participate in including gym, drama, and arts and crafts.

Upon our arrival at St. Brigid Catholic School, we watched the children and camp counsellors gathered around a campfire, engrossed in scary stories. On this day, the program was centered around Halloween, as every child was encouraged to dress up in a costume of their choice.

In return, it created a lively and thrilling experience as kids with different varieties of costumes ran around or played Gaga Ball in the playground during free time.

Lastly, they ended the day with a haunted house with staff dressed up and appointed to scare the children to create a thrilling yet safe play area. Keep an eye out for The Watcher!

TCE Woodbine’s staff and FOY counselors are dedicated to guaranteeing that every camper enjoys a safe and pleasant experience during the summer. Children involved in this program are strongly encouraged to take part in all three activities every day. That includes team-building activities, mini-games, and much more. In our video summary, you will see the commitment that each staff demonstrates in ensuring that every child is comfortable and happy.
