The Boys and Girls Club of West Scarborough (BGCWS) has been the centre of the West Scarborough Community since 1956 when it was initiated by the Scarborough Civitan Service Club through community action. To this day, the Boys and Girls Club continues to provide support for the community.

Their mission is “to provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.” They strive to do this everyday as they greet campers with a smile in the morning and keep them energized and excited as the day progresses.

The camp focuses not only on fun and games but also education during the summer. The campers go over their numeracy and literacy skills, while having fun. In addition to these activities, the camp is full of endless fun such as baking, swimming, nature walks, and many more!
