Boys and Girls Club of Weston-Mount Dennis is offered to children between the ages of 6-12. The days are filled with fun games, arts and crafts, play time and gym. The kids also venture on fun and supervised trips every week. This club is home to nearly 60 children who all love their summer camp.
At this camp, children are able to develop social skills as they get to know one another. Along with friendship, Boys and Girls Club of Weston Mount Dennis inspires the kids to become more independent through the many leadership games and activities while maintaining the fun and active environment.
All campers including those as young as six years old experience the victories of winning games. They learn to use teamwork and focus to assist them as they strive for the goal. In this particular game the campers must form a line and use the broken telephone method to pass on any specific letter in hopes that the last person writes down the correct letter, earning themselves a point. This game builds teamwork skills while being loads of fun.
